
CUPACLAD® Slate
CUPACLAD® can be installed over external masonry, concrete, timber and steel framed walls. The slate cladding is available in two systems, CUPACLAD® 101 and CUPACLAD® 201.
The two systems feature different fixing mechanisms, with CUPACLAD® 101 utilising hidden face fixings, whilst CUPACLAD® 201 features visible clips. CUPACLAD® 101 is available in three options: Logic, Random and Parallel, which all offer different dimensions and arrangements of the slates.
- The slates and subframe are classified as non-combustible
- Under normal conditions, the cladding system offers a service life of at least 35 years

Installation should be carried out in accordance with the certificate holder's installation manual, by contractors with experience and training from the approved certificate holder.
CUPACLAD® is classfied as non-combustible in accordance with its BBA certificate, and can safely resist the wind and impact action described in section 6 of certificate 18/5532.
The production process is highly efficient and does not involve any heating or chemical processes which cause pollution or high energy and water consumption. The product also holds an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD), certifying its low environmental impact during its life cycle.
CUPACLAD® offers a wide range of design possibilities using varying sizes and combinations of slate. The options include:
Shield: combines slate with other materials like wood, metal or ceramic in an overlapping hexagonal design
Ascent: geometric design utilising shaped slate
Honeycomb: utilises honeycomb shaped slate tiles
Lineal: combines overlapping slate tiles with different colours, textures and materials
Wave: utilises zigzag rhomboid shapes tiles, inspired by the waves of the sea
Diagonal: simple design with rectangular pieces installed diagonally
Offset: utilises two different sized asymmetric shaped tiles to create irregular patterns, inspired by traditional stone facades
Waterfall: slate that is orientated vertically to give the illusion of cascading water
