#  Rockwool Rainscreen Duo Slab 

 Rockwool Rainscreen Duo Slab is an A1 fire rated and BBA approved stone wool insulation product developed for use with sealed and ventilated cladding systems. 

 

 

 Rockwool Rainscreen Duo Slab is manufactured using a specialist dual density technology, which means the outer surface of each insulation slab features a higher density than the underside of the slab. The higher density of the top of the slab provides a firm surface for the fixings to be fitted into, whilst the underside is able to accommodate any unevenness that may occur in the substrate of the building. The outer surface is also applied with a water repelling agent that gives the insulation resistance to any potential water ingress during the construction process.

As well as providing heat insulating and water repelling properties, the Rainscreen Duo Slab also reduces the travel of airborne noise with results from in-situ laboratory testing as high as Rw 62 dB.
