Knauf Rocksilk Rainscreen Slab
Knauf Rocksilk Rainscreen Slab is a BBA certified and A1 fire rated rock mineral wool insulation product, designed for use on facades in conjunction with weathertight ventilated cladding systems.
Knauf Rocksilk Rainscreen Slab's are manufactured from molten rock and Knauf's unique bio-based binder, ECOSE® Technology. Once manufactured, a water-repellent additive is applied to the slabs to ensure they maintain their integrity during construction.
In the opinion of the BBA, Rocksilk Rainscreen Slab for use in Rainscreen Cladding Systems, if installed, used and maintained in accordance with its certificate, can satisfy or contribute to satisfying the relevant requirements of The Building Regulations 2010 (England and Wales), 2004 (Scotland) and 2012 (Northern Ireland).
