Glidevale Protect

Glidevale Protect is a UK producer of Class A2 fire rated external wall breather membranes which are intricately woven with a glass fibre fabric.

The Glidevale Protect wall breather membranes are specifically designed for use with facade systems on low to high rise buildings. The membranes exceed the fire safety requirements in the Building Regulations Approved Document B on buildings over 11m in height. They are also suitable for use on higher risk buildings, as defined in the Building Safety Act.

Intricately woven from a glass fibre fabric, the membranes have a fire resistant and waterproof coating. The membranes provide protection against fire spread and water penetration, as well as providing a first line of protection during the construction process. The membranes have a Class A2-s1, d0 reaction to fire, independently tested both as free hanging or onto an A1 or A2 substrate.
